New Fable II launch trailer hits Xbox Live Marketplace

T-minus four days before “Fable II” embarks upon its long awaited journey to retailers throughout North America on Oct. 21, 2008 and Europe on Oct. 24, 2008. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 – Natsume today released new screens, artwork and video for Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon for the Nintendo DS, slated to arrive later on this year. The Rune Factory series is a unique blend of elements from the Harvest Moon universe and that of a fantasy RPG, offering Harvest Moon fans and traditional RPG players the best of both worlds.

Rune Factory 2 is set several years after the first game. The evil Sechs Empire has been defeated, and the Kingdom of Norad is once again at peace. Things may not stay that way for long, however, as dark premonitions foretell of dangers to come. It’s up to player to uncover the source of these premonitions and bring peace to the kingdom once more.

In a first for the Rune Factory series, the story of Rune Factory 2 is multigenerational. Players begin the game as Kyle, a strange man who comes to Alvarna Village. Eventually, players will take on the role of Kyle’s child, opening up a whole new adventure. It’s an innovative feature that allows players to follow the story of their family and the townsfolk over two generations! Rune Factory 2 offers innovative Touch Screen controls, easy-to-use menus, and an all-new compelling storyline.

Hammer’s Live Action Division launches with production of TNA Impact! video game 30-second commercial

SEPTEMBER 9, 2008, HOLLYWOOD: Hammer Creative is pleased to announce the completion of the first major live action commercial from its new live action division. Hammer’s :30 spot for Midway’s TNA: IMPACT! is currently airing nationally to promote the release of TNA Wrestling’s first video game. Hammer’s live action division, spearheaded by Jim Botko and Scott Hayman, partnered with director Russell Bates and Crossroads Films to pull off this ambitious stunt-filled production. The commercial features TNA Superstars Kurt Angle and A.J. Styles.

“Hammer’s move into live action is a natural progression in the creative growth of the company,” says Hammer Founder Mark Pierce. “With access to some of the top creative talent from both the commercial agency and Hollywood production community, Hammer now has the capability to produce a wide range of projects that involve some form of live action, from small, EPK/Developer Diary level shoots to full blown, high end commercial productions like we just completed for Midway and TNA.”

Yup, I’m working late, and looked into my inbox for this gift from TellTale Games….

It’s going to be called: Strongbad’s Cool Game for Attactive People Episode 2: Strong Badia the Free. Long title! I’m about 1/3 of the way through the ep 1, for review, I PROMISE i’ll have it up soon, and Episode 2 will review should be ready in time for the release of said episode! I’m doing my best to get reviewing!

Here’s a quick synopsis of episode 2: When Strong Bad fails to obey the King of Town’s totally unfair email tax, he’s placed under house arrest.
