GodsWar Online: Deity System
IGG has revealed an innovative new Deity System in GodsWar Online (http://gw.igg.com/main.php).
The Deity System is one of the characteristic systems of GodsWar Online, a game based on ancient Greek culture. In the game, worshiping different gods can bring players different ability bonuses, as well as important deity skills.
Deity System Introduction:
In Greece, Zeus, Athena, Apollo and other gods enjoyed broad appeal and worship throughout the land. In GodsWar Online, players can choose one of 14 Gods to worship and enjoy the sight of many large and magnificent temples erected in their honor.
System Usage:
In the game, players can worship Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Ares, Demeter, Hestia, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes and Dionysus, each god bestowing different ability bonuses and deity skills on his or her worshipers.
Deity skills accumulated through worship is an important system in the game. Although each gift has different attributes and benefits, the effects are powerful enough to even reverse the outcomes of a war.
If players team up, one player using a deity skill can help all members of the team to obtain extra bonuses; this is called the chained Deity System.

Warrior Epic new screens and details
Explore the Lore-driven, Lush Jungle Land of Aberas, the First of Four Unique Worlds Players Will Experience in Warrior Epic
True Games Interactive, an international publisher of multi-player online games, revealed today new screen shots and key details for its highly anticipated Online action MMORPG, Warrior Epic (www.warriorepic.com). Developed by Austin-based studio Possibility Space, the game has already developed a growing community and will launch in Spring 2009.
True Games and Possibility Space today revealed details on the formerly ravaged and sunken land, Aberas, where players will begin their journey in Warrior Epic. Aberas will offer 20 unique zones, multiple PvP areas and randomized dungeons with infinite re-playability. For more information about Aberas and its story; from its people’s greed-driven exile to its triumphant return and its current state of war, raids and alliances and more, see below.
The story of Aberas
“Aberas is Risen!” the fisherman had yelled to shore. “We Are Forgiven! Maraendee be Praised!”
But his joyful words, uttered four centuries past and now remembered only in tarnished silver letters upon a crumbling temple wall, ultimately proved hollow. For while the sunken land of Aberas had indeed returned from the watery depths of the Great sea, the exiled Sumanti Tribe, children of the sea goddess Maraendee, had not been forgiven.
Greed had been their downfall; greed and a lack of respect for the bounty Maraendee provided. The Sumanti took more from Her than was offered; so as payment She took from them Aberas, the land they called home. Shamed, the Sumanti wandered homeless and penitent until the fateful day ruined Aberas rose again.
“We Are Forgiven!” came the refrain as the sundered Sumanti returned, expecting forgiveness and salvation. But gone were the lush forests; gone were the rolling plains; and gone were the bountiful waters. Because in truth… gone was Maraendee. Had she fled? Had she died? Even the prophets knew not. But no longer engulfed by Her will, Aberas had re-emerged as a devastated, godless wasteland.
Their faith shaken, the Sumanti nonetheless returned, sorting through soggy rubble with dreams of rebuilding an empire. But despite breakthroughs of magic and science that promised to fill the void left by their missing Goddess, their attempts to re-colonize Aberas ultimately proved futile, and the Sumanti and their Cult of Maraendee are now little more than memory.
But times change and wounds heal: dense jungle now covers twice-ruined Aberas. Civilization has slowly returned, encroaching upon the fallen land with mixed emotions. Newer — lesser — Gods battle over the forgotten empire, vying for power with the pawns called Men. To the south lies Providence, a glimmering ray of order and hope for the weakened Alliance, desperate for a stable trade route to sustain them after years of struggle. But Northlander raids devastate the land and strange creatures haunt her borders.
And into this world of turmoil and strife come rumors of a new threat, for the fishermen no longer shout for joy, but whisper in terror: “Maraendee has returned…”
Following their experiences in Aberas, players will venture to three other varied and intriguing lands including the dark and foreboding swamps of the Trogken people, the sacred, monk-protected lands of Welken Warrens and the eerie, skeleton tree-lined ruins of Faustus Estate. Stay tuned for details on each of these exciting lands in January 2009.

New Patch For winSPWW2 Thunders Onto The Battlefield!
Ten years ago this month the very first mod by the Camo Workshop for Steel Panthers 2 was released and the wargaming world has never been the same. A decade of dedication later the Camo Workshop is still tweaking their ultimate super-mod, making the best even better, and with that in mind have now made available a brand new upgrade to their winSPWW2.
Bringing the game to version 3.5, the upgrade patch is available for immediate download and weighs in at 5.9 MB of digital excellence. The upgrade is for both the free download and the Enhanced CD Edition. Please note that if you have missed out on previous upgrade patches you must install the patches in their numeric order; patch contents are not all inclusive.
The version 3.5 upgrade patch contains the following additions:
* 9 new scenarios.
* 5 revised scenarios.
* 8 new maps.
* 6 new or revised photos.
* 2 revised icons.
* 36 updated OOB files.
* 2 revised graphic files.
* 3686 new icon spots added.
* Upgraded Cost Calculator, MOBHack, and Extended Map Editor. Minor adjustments made to all three to keep them in sync with other changes made in the game, but no new features.
Furthermore, the version 3.5 upgrade patch contains numerous fixes and corrections. Some highlights include:
* Fixed old “W” key bug where weapon ( 1 ) could not be fired when using the “W” (weapons ) key to fire only 1 weapon.
* On map Arty command units have been removed from the list of units able to act as spotters. They can no longer call indirect artillery missions which was allowing an arty cheat that existed back to Steel Panthers 2.
* The delay for adjusting the fall of shot for both on and off map artillery landing out of the observing units line of sight has been increased and in most cases now means only one adjustment can be made without delaying the next fall of shot an extra turn.
* Landed gliders are no longer automatically destroyed, but are now treated as abandoned vehicles.
* A bug with all units of a side being destroyed but the game did not end even if all objectives taken has been fixed.
* Changes have been made to the code so that if your vehicle kicks up dust due to movement then you can no longer undo that vehicle’s action. (Note that this also applies for partial smoke that does not generate a smoke graphic in the hex).
* A new feature for gamers with the Enhanced CD Edition (only, does not apply to the free download version) allows players to check the location on the map of the other units in a formation with a hotkey or a button in the HQ menu.
* Off map artillery will now have a chance of losing radio contact and when they do they will not appear in the bombard menu. However, if a fire mission has been plotted and you lose contact the turn before the fire mission is scheduled to go in the fire mission will go in as scheduled but because it dropped off the bombard menu just before it did you will not be able to cancel it or shift fire.
* Many more fixes, including several specifically aimed at PBEM issues.
Download the patch at the official winSPWW2 game page.
winSPWW2 is the tactical computer wargame that everyone needs to play. Easy enough to get into, yet one of the most exhaustively detailed games on 20th century warfare that you’ll find, winSPWW2 can quickly blossom into an obsession. Consider that before any of the upgrade patches are applied the core game comes with over three hundred scenarios!
Featuring combined arms warfare from 1930 until 1946 (with the sister game, winSPMBT taking up from where winSPWW2 leaves off), players will find a wealth of gameplay options. Fight as practically every single combatant that did (or could have) fought during that era, using a massive database of weapon platforms. Fight in single scenarios, campaigns, random battles, and against other live opponents in a variety of terrain and for numerous battlefield objectives.
winSPWW2 also sports another great feature: it’s FREE. Right on the very same page that you can download the 3.5 upgrade patch from you can download the full game, no strings attached. You’ll also note that there is a ‘Buy It’ icon…but if it’s free, what is there to buy?
Besides the free version the Camo Workshop and Shrapnel Games offer an Enhanced CD Edition. Like the name says, this version provides a number of enhancements to the core gameplay experience, including very high resolutions and a much more robust map editor. The full list of differences can be found on the page. Many gamers find that being able to play winSPWW2 in 1600×1200 is reason enough to upgrade to the Enhanced CD Edition.

There you can peruse our entire catalog, download some demos, and join in our ever growing community of discerning gamers. Wonderland Online: Fire Killer Strategy
Wonderland Online (http://wl.igg.com/main.php) has released the new Rebirth System in version 3.0, which will mean lots of new powers and a lot more challenges ahead for our advanced players. Today the WLO team is providing a guide to creating that offensive force of nature known as the ‘Fire Killer’.
In the upcoming rebirth system, Fire Killers will be the class with the best killing power. Fire Killers are characters who feel that for PK, and life in general, the best defense is an great offense. Both the fire attribute and the killer’s abilities make their attack power imposing.
Basic Power for the Killer
ATK= (Level*2+STR*2)*110%
DEF=Level*2+CON*1.75
MATK=Level*1.6+INT*2
MDEF=Level*2+WIS*2.2
SPD=Level*1.6+AGI*1.8
Hidden Enchantment
Lethality and primary mana power both increased by approximately 30%. Target’s counterattack rate decreased slightly.
Special Gear
Killer Manteau (+ATK 10-80) is the reward given to the players when they are reborn as a killer. Additionally, the manteau level will go up when the player level’s up.
The following is an analysis for Fire Killers’ points distribution
Level 100 Fire Killer, Reborn
1. STR and CON Fire Killer
STR 330↑
CON 140~200
INT 0
WIS 18↓
AGI 30↓
STR and CON Fire Killers are one of the basic types, but they have fixed HP, SP and high lethality which are useful for doing common quests. However, when players want to do some hard quests, the assistance of team members’ is a better choice.
2. STR and AGI Fire Killer
STR 320↑
CON 110~150
INT 0
WIS 18↓
AGI 50↑
STR and AGI Fire Killers have better speed but less HP, so they are helpful in PK or Group PK as well as in common quests. But they aren’t very good for doing hard quests, even in group.
3. Assistant STR and CON Fire Killer
STR 300↑
CON 140~200
INT 0
WIS 42
AGI 30↓
For difficult quests in the middle or later periods, endurance is significant. So more and more assistant STR and CON concerned Fire Killers will appear since their most powerful skill, “Fervidity”, costs so much SP. They may have less power to attack and kill, but they can improve their endurance for the fight and will end up being just as lethal in the long run.
4. Assistant STR and AGI Fire Killer
STR 300↑
CON 110~150
INT 0
WIS 42
AGI 50↑
Assistant STR and AGI Fire Killers have both high SP and good speed. What’s more, their Mess Spell gives them a better shot rate so they are useful in PK. They also have a lot of SP to increase their endurance for the fight.
5. STR Fire Killer
STR 400↑
CON 150↓
INT 0
WIS 11↓
AGI 10↓
The STR Fire Killers are the characters who have the most powerful attack. In PK they are peerless, they can deal fatal damage to a high level character or use Arrow Rain to kill targets. However, these advantages are useless in group PK. Also, they have such powerful attacks, that they’re defense suffers greatly. They must depend on either high level gear with good defense or teammates’ assistance, especially when doing hard quests.
6. Assistant STR Fire Killer
STR 370↑
CON 150↓
INT 0
WIS 18~42
AGI 10↓
To deal with the problem of endurance, this kind of Assistant Fire Killer decreases their attack but increases their SP. Their endurance is quite good but their speed is low, so they must depend on teammates at times.
Fire Killers have high kill rate and are easy to begin with. They are useful if players take advantage of their strengths and prepare for their weaknesses.

Zu Online: Fashion Improvement System
Feeling defenseless every time you put on something nice? Well, you are able to attach attributes to your fashionable sets from Fashion Improvement System in Zu Online (http://zu.igg.com/) now. So these high fashion items, including Q Head for each clan, Bridegroom-Q Head, Bride-Q Head and Metamorphic fashions, can be worn for more than cocktail parties in Desert City.
Items usable in improving fashions
Players can gain items used for improving fashions from monsters. Below are details of the two types of items used to attach attributes to fashions:
Gem of Quickness: Usable on a fashion to accelerate mounting a pet.
Gem of Stability: Usable on a fashion to reduce the chance to be dismounted when attacked.
Fashion Improvement Process
First of all, you should have a fashion and the required items for improving fashions.
To improve a fashion, simply right click on the required item from the inventory and then click a fashion to improve it.
The Potential of a fashion determines how many types of attributes can be attached to it.
Each fashion can only be attached the same type of attributes once. So, remember to improve your fashion using the best items.
Notes of Fashion Improvement
The Potential of fashions available in the Item Mall is a random numerical value. So, if you only get a fashion with 1+ Potential, you can still attach attributes to it.

Atlantica Opens Up The new world
Strategic, Turn-Based MMO Brings Legends of the Americas to Life
The world of Atlantica Online just got bigger. The strategic, turn-based MMORPG that sends players on a journey around the globe opened up the Western Hemisphere to be explored.
NDOORS Interactive has expanded the game with its first major content upgrade, dubbed the “Next Frontier.” For the past month since the game launched, Atlantica adventurers have battled and explored some of the ancient civilizations of the Eastern Hemisphere. Now they will cross the oceans into the Americas, where they will encounter monsters drawn from the myths and legends of the American Old West and Aztecs. In addition to new geographic regions being added, new mercenaries will be made available. The level cap has also been increased from 100 to 120.
“The world of Atlantica is vast and open to all sorts of possibilities,” said Peter Kang, CEO, NDOORS Interactive. “This is just the first of what we envision to being many significant content additions for the game. There is still much more of Atlantica’s domain to open up, like South America and Oceania, and still many more civilizations and legends that we will draw on to serve as the backdrop for future quests and characters.”
North America is where the bulk of the new areas will be found. In Detroit, players will face monsters that will try to rock their world. Then in Dallas they will come across a saloon where players can expect, like any good Western, a barroom brawl. A new guild dungeon will be found on Alcatraz Island in the San Francisco Bay. There will also be several new dungeons added to existing regions, such as China.
The first two B Class mercenaries will be introduced. These more powerful and difficult to acquire mercenaries are the Spartan and the Sailor. This new class will keep with the theme of mercenary upgrades being based on actual figures from human history. The Spartan can be upgraded to Leonidas, the legendary king who led the Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae. The Sailor can ultimately become Anne Bonny, the infamous female pirate. To obtain the Sailor mercenary, players will travel to the Caribbean and complete quests, one of which will require them to fight for their lives against Davy Jones.
New content has also been added as part of a Christmas event. For a limited time, players can go on a special quest that will take them to Santa’s Villa. Good old St. Nick isn’t so jolly in this villa, however, forcing players to battle some nasty holiday creatures. By completing this quest, players can obtain items like a Santa’s hat and an antler’s hat that comes with a nose that will light them through dark situations, just like Rudolph. Other items that will be made available through this event are products found in the Item Mall.
